Faculty Update - February 2021

Dr. Lee Fisher was selected to present for the University’s 2021 Senior Vice Chancellor’s Research Seminar series.

Dr. Lee Fisher was selected for the NANS 2021 Kumar New Investigator Award.

Dr. Michael Boninger and co-authors published a report with a committee from the National Academics of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine entitled, “An Assessment of Illness in US Government Employees and Their Families at Overseas Embassies.”

Dr. Chris Standaert is named one of the top reviewers for Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research.

“Reliability and validity of the modified Heckmatt scale in evaluating muscle changes with ultrasound in spasticity” (co-authors Drs. Michael Munin and Gina McKernan) is selected as best abstract at the International Neurotoxin Association meeting, January 2021.

Dr. Tina Paul accepted a position as a board member for the American Board of Professional Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology Specialty.

Dr. Jessica Jarvis received the Pediatric Critical Care Medicine research award at the World Federation Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Societies Congress.
