The most important thing in my life has and will always be my family, with my pursuit to help others as a physician following just behind. I had the privilege to be exposed to UPMC's fantastic rehab facilities, amazing residents, and dedicated faculty as both a Pitt Med student as well as a family member of many who required inpatient rehabilitation. It's truly one of the best centers for PM&R in the country on every front. I chose UPMC PM&R because I knew the difference they made not just in trainees' lives but also the profound impact they made on patients every day. It was clear that this program would help me reach my full potential as a leader, a researcher, and a physician within every facet of the great wide world of PM&R.
