Cheyenne Hennen is a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Dept. of PM&R at the Univ. of Pittsburgh. Cheyenne is a Penn State University graduate with a BA in Global and International Studies with minors in Asian Studies and Korean. As an individual with Sacral Agenesis, she is passionate about cultivating spaces that are diverse, inclusive, and accessible for all cultures and identities. After graduating Penn State, she served in Compass AmeriCorps providing direct support and English as a Second language instruction to Refugee and Immigrant families and children at Literacy Pittsburgh. She also spent time advocating for youth with disabilities at Parent Advocacy and Leadership Center (PEAL) which strives to empower and educate families on disability rights. Her goal is to provide equitable resources to underrepresented populations while working towards decreasing social and cultural stigmas around disability through education, creative expression, and community.
