Dr. Chou’s research focuses on improving care for individuals with rehabilitation needs and highlighting the impact of rehabilitation clinicians in both healthcare and community settings. Her research interests include the translation of evidence-based findings into clinical practice through collaboration with patients, care partners, clinicians, and healthcare systems. Her work evaluates the impact of rehabilitation services and care partner involvement on patient outcomes, utilizing electronic health records and national datasets to identify long-term trends.
