Applicants who match into our Categorical program will complete most of their PGY-1 year at the UPMC Mercy and Presbyterian campuses. Rotations during PGY-1 include:
- 2 1/2 blocks Electives
- 1 block Emergency Medicine
- 3 blocks Floor Medicine
- 1 block ICU
- 1 block Neurology
- 1 1/2 blocks Night Medicine
- 1 block PM&R Junior Inpatient
- 1 block Radiology
- 1 block Rheumatology
