As someone who discovered PM&R through research in rehabilitative technology, it was exciting to hear how UPMC's program was leading the charge in rehabilitative research and technological innovation. This, along with the programs' availability of unique tracks allowing to tailor one's interests combined with robust inpatient/outpatient experiences made UPMC an easy choice. I also heard about how supportive faculty are throughout residency and the many things to do around the Pittsburgh area!
