Faculty Update - December 2022

Dr. Amy Houtrow is elected committee chair for workshop entitled, "Supporting Children with Disabilities: Lessons from the Pandemic." Dr. Houtrow will also speak at an upcoming event "Disability, Race, and Access to Care."

Dr. Kentaro Onishi and co-authors are recognized by International Journal of Molecular Sciences for one of the most highly cited papers of the year, "Platelet-Rich Plasma: New Performance Understandings and Therapeutic Considerations in 2020."

Dr. Kevin Franzese is selected to join the AAP's Program for Academic Leadership.

Dr. Kerry DeLuca accepted an invitation to participate as an AAPM&R representative on the steering committee for an OIG inpatient rehab medical necessity project.

Dr. Jim Eubanks is accepted into the 2023 Value-Based Health Care Delivery intensive seminary at Harvard Business School.

Drs. Karen Barr and Christopher Standaert co-authored a paper published in PM&R entitled, "PROMIS for the PM&R clinician using patient-reported outcomes in clinical care."

Dr. Amit Sinha is boarded in Brain Injury Medicine.

Dr. Angela Garcia co-chaired the Arthritis Foundation's black-tie masquerade, "Bone Bash," in October.

Dr. Michael Munin is featured in a KDKA patient story.
