AAP Meeting '22

Department Chair, Dr. Gwen Sowa, hosted this year's annual meeting of the Association of Academic Physiatrists as the president of the Board of Trustees. The conference took place from May 24-28 in New Orleans, LA. PM&R's faculty and trainees presented during numerous sessions:

Dr. Kuntal Chowdhary (PGY-3) presented a paper entitled, "Coming of Age – An Investigation into the Impact of Aging on the Efficacy of Platelet-Rich Plasma Treatment in Osteoarthritis," during the Rehabilitation Medicine Scientist Training Program (RMSTP) Scientific Papers portion.

Dr. Allison Schroeder was recognized by the journal AJPM&R as an "Outstanding Reviewer."
