The Brain Injury Fellowship is one of only three ACGME accredited BI fellowships in the United States (ACGME #3474134001). the one year program is available to a Board Certified/Board Eligible candidate trained in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
The majority of training will be conducted at the Brain Injury Unit at UPMC Rehabilitation Institute (RI) at Mercy where we provide the highest level of comprehensive and multidisciplinary rehabilitation care that includes emergency medical, acute medical, and post-acute services.
RI is also the clinical site of our NeuroRehabilitation Education and Rehabilomics Research model center.
